About The Breeders

They say everything is better with a sister and we’d totally agree. We grew up immersed in the horse world in our youth with our parents breeding stock horses mostly Appaloosas with some paints. They sold the breeding stock about the time Amanda graduated high school and with college and new careers we took a little break from the horse world.

we explored other adventures but never strayed far from the farm. When Brittany moved back to Michigan from California we decided it was time to take the leap and buy our first gypsy vanners.

We first learned about the breed while putting together a project for our 4H horse bowl group and have been smitten since. It’s been 15+ years but our desire to own and breed Gypsy Vanners has never faded.

Amanda
Growing up I was an active participant in 4H. I spent a lot of time putting together educational projects for our local hippology and horse bowl groups. I was never far from the saddle and enjoyed everything from speed events to trail riding and everything in between. I took a hiatus from riding after I graduated collage and my gelding suffered an injury but he is enjoying his days in the pasture. I’m fascinated by genetics and love spending time studying pedigrees, performance records and planning future breedings. Outside of the barn I enjoy exploring my artistic side and make functional pottery for fun.
